Commending Excellence: Annual Induction Ceremony

The highlight of our calendar each year is undoubtedly the induction ceremony held in June to honor the outstanding individuals selected for induction into the prestigious Muskegon Sports Hall of Fame. This special event serves as a celebration of excellence, recognizing the remarkable achievements and contributions of athletes, coaches, and sports support staff who have left an indelible mark on the Muskegon sports community. With great pride, we gather to bestow well-deserved awards upon these distinguished honorees, commemorating their lasting impact and inspiring future generations.

In addition, we pay tribute to the exemplary dedication and talent of Scholar-Athletes within our community. Each year one male and one female Scholar-Athlete are selected to receive this esteemed recognition, symbolizing their outstanding achievements both on the field and in the classroom. Additionally, we take great pleasure in presenting the organization’s Gene Young Service Award to a remarkable member of our community, acknowledging their unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the sports community. This ceremony serves as a testament to the spirit of excellence and camaraderie that defines the Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame.

Our Induction Ceremony & Fundraiser will be held at the Van Dyk Mortgage Convention Center in downtown Muskegon on Saturday, June 8th.  Some particulars are presented below:

Cocktail Hour:  5:00 p.m.

Dinner:  6:00 p.m.

Program: 6:45 p.m.
